INTEGRATED PREVENTION SERVICES FOR GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE:

About 22% of women aged between 15 -49 in Uganda have experienced some form of sexual violence.

While gender-based violence is usually targeted at women and girls, some boys and men have also been survivors of GBV. MJAP offers post-Gender-Based Violence (GBV) services focusing on the three forms of GBV; Sexual, Psychological/emotional and physical violence.

To reduce the risk of contracting HIV and unintended pregnancy after sexual violence, MJAP offers a comprehensive package of services including Post Exposure prophylaxis and emergency contraceptives in supported clinics.
