With support from the United States Government (USG), Makerere Joint AIDS Program (MJAP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, successfully completed the training and pass-out of CHEWs for Mayuge District Local Government in 2023. However, some of the required tools were not provided at the time.
With continued support from the United States Government, these essential tools were later secured, and today we successfully concluded their official handover at the Mayuge District Headquarters.
This milestone strengthens the capacity of CHEWs to effectively deliver community-based health services and improve health outcomes at the grassroots level.
