We continue to work with @MinofHealthUG ACP to implement the YAPS model in our 8 supported districts and 4 districts supported by @GlobalFund and @UNICEF to improve case identification, linkage into care, retention, adherence, and viral suppression among #AYLPHIV.
Last quarter we conducted 260 health education sessions on various topics reaching 800 AYPLHIV with HIV prevention and adherence messages, a total of 180 AYPLHIV were reached through home visits providing them integrated services at the household level including index testing, viral load bleeding drug refills, and psychosocial support.
141 Peer support group meetings reached 1,350 AYPLHIV, these sessions are safe places for the AYPLHIV to open up and share their experiences, closely interact and the peer leader disseminates adherence and life skills messages.
