𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗼. (𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗜𝗩 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀)

60 peer leaders from fishing communities (fisherfolk, fishermen, female sex workers, adolescent girls and young women, and adolescent boys and young men) are being equipped with foundational knowledge on HIV and TB, and reorienting 35 health workers, including ART focal persons and District Health Teams in Namayingo District.

This is aimed at strengthening community-driven and health-system-supported responses to HIV and TB prevention and care.
